  Steve and Toby seem like nice enough people. Steve is certainly responsive and nearly always answers his phone. Also, the work they did for me was good and clean, so another star was earned.
  I initially contacted Steve for a quote to hang 2 TVs with installation of outlets (to hide wires), and to hang a fully assembled shelf below one of them and a fully assembled chandelier on an 8 foot ceiling. The quote over the phone was 800-1000, which seemed steep but worth it for a quote sight-unseen and for insured and well regarded electricians.
  The final bill received was for 20 hours of labor (>100$/hr) + Parts and a Service Call charge. While I'm not an electrician, that seems like an inordinate amount of time for the job completed. I couldn't help but feel similarly to how I've felt at the auto mechanic in the past. At one point it was communicated that the job was a little more involved than initially expected, but it was never made clear that the cost would be nearly TRIPLE the estimate. I obviously paid, though begrudgingly as the cost of the installation exceeded the cost of the items being installed.
  PS. If I had known I was being charged hourly, I may have thought twice about ordering pizza for the guys. Most expensive pizza ever.

  Steve and Toby are top notch. Toby is detail oriented and he went above and beyond to solve my issue. He not only replaced bad electric circuit breaker but also looked at HVAC issue that I currently have at the same time and advised honestly as to what to do with it. I highly recommend Hollander electric

  Hollander did a great job getting my Home back up and running after a storm took our electric service wire down. They were able to give us options for repair and even stayed late to remove a tree and temporarily re-hang the service line before JCP&L came out to disconnect. They did what they said and more! I would recommend them for all your electrical needs. Thanks Hollander.
